Georgia began teaching yoga in 2012 while she was living in New Hampshire. She has since been teaching yoga in the metro west area of Boston. She obtained her first 200 hour certification through Sacred Seeds Yoga School in 2012 with the acclaimed Jacqui Bonwell.  She is a 500+ hour certified yoga instructor and registered with Yoga Alliance. Along with Jacqui, her main teachers are,  Rolf Gates and David Vendetti.

On top of her 500+ hour yoga certification, she is also certified in Prenatal yoga, Reiki, and Thai massage.   Her passion for yoga has guided her to the world known Kripalu Center, in western Massachusetts numerous times where she has done separate trainings with Byron Katie, Judith Lasater, Guru Singh, Lama Migmar and Sukha Wong.

Her ongoing desire to self reflect and become a better friend to herself (first and foremost) and others has assisted her in learning about and signing up for a ten day Vipassana soon in Shelbourne Falls Massachusetts.

On her own, she has been an avid student of Pema Chodron. She is in awe of Pema and credits the teachings of Tonglen (a Tibeten Buddhist meditation) to some of her own personal shortcomings. She finally made it to the Omega Institute in upstate NY to attend one of Pema’s in person weekend lectures.

Georgia has done and continues to do extensive work on herself through the practice of yoga, meditation, intention setting, music therapy, visualization, art and prayer.

She credits her mentors and teachers daily for sharing  with her the path of yoga but she remains forever grateful to her very own life experiences; the heartbreak, sorrow, joy and perseverance that got her to where she is today.  She is still not sure where she would be today if it wasn't for her practice, the yoga community and her faith.

When Georgia is not teaching yoga, she's either teaching another one of her passions, a high intensity, energetic Boot camp class or she is personal training clients.  A motto of hers has always been, "Sweat it out." When the energy that lives in us gets clogged, dimmed or sluggish, she believes in physical movement and literally, "sweating it out" to energetically free up space in the body and the mind in order to feel better/healthier.

The path of yoga and health has also assisted her in completing five marathons. She has recently completed two bikini competitions as well. She took home first place in her first show ever this past May 2021 and second place in her second show in November 2021. She credits the mind body connection to all her successes and all her failures. A quote she often stops to ponder is, "what we think, we become” from the Buddha.  When you believe you can accomplish something, you do. The same goes for when you believe you can't do something. When we get our minds into alignment, our bodies follow.

Her life’s journey so far on and off the mat has brought her to the realization that, the healer we’ve been looking for is our own courage to know and love ourselves completely.

Her mission is to share this knowing with everyone she encounters.
